Application Notes

Saturated Steam Service: Styles 414 and 415 are suitable for saturated steam/water service in their standard configuration. Styles 412, 426 and 446 are suitable if the automatic ball checks are removed or configured with ASME ball checks.
Potable Water: Only Style 446 valves are suitable
Vacuum Service: Suitable when automatic ball checks are removed or configured with double automatic ball checks (Style size 05 only)
