Style 585 – Graphite

  • Flexible Graphite with Laminate 316SS Foil 2 Mil thick
  • 1/16” Thick gasket
  • Rated: 750°F in Oxidizing Atmosphere
  • Typically used as the inside chamber gasket (in contact with the media) but may be used as the cushion, especially in high temperature applications.

Style 586 – Grafoil®GHR

  • Flexible Graphite with Laminate 316SS/316LSS Foil 2 Mil thick
  • 1/16” Thick gasket
  • Rated: 400°F to 750°F in Oxidizing Environment, 1800°F in Non-Oxidizing Environment, 596°F Saturated Steam
  • Typically used as the inside chamber gasket (in contact with the media) but may be used as the cushion, especially in high temperature applications.

Mica Shields

  • Style 592: Grade V4 .005”-.010” (Rated: 300-600 PSIG Saturated Steam)
  • Style 593: Grade V4 .009”-.012” (Rated: 300-600 PSIG Saturated Steam)

Style 588 – Klingersil® C-4401

  • Klingersil® C-4401 Gasket

  • Rated: 750°F Common Liquid Installations, Saturated Steam 450°F
  • Typically used as the cushion and may be used as the inside chamber gasket (in contact with the media).

Style 596 – PTFE 25% Glass Filled

  • Compressible PTFE that offers better sealing properties than solid PTFE
  • 1/16” Thick
  • Rated: 500°F
  • Typically used as the inside chamber gasket (in contact with the media) for chemical compatibility issues.

Application Notes

  • Steam Service: Suitable for steam applications
  • Vacuum Service: Acceptable with properly designed equipment, except mica shields.
